Closure valve watertight to 50kPa (5m head): Once shut the Rocla ecoStop® valve prevents all stormwater from entering the drainage system, thereby retaining the oil spill upstream of the valve either above ground in a typical bunded area or below ground in storage tanks. |

High operational reliability: The float actuated shut-off valve stops flow through the system when maximum hydrocarbon storage capacity or a certain liquid level is reached (light liquid specific gravity below 0.95), preventing the discharge of free hydrocarbon to municipal sewers, stormwater drainage systems or direct discharge outfalls. |
